Southern Federal University and Roseltorg are joining forces to develop education and science.

February 4, 2026

Southern Federal University and the Roseltorg electronic trading platform have signed a cooperation agreement.

The partnership aims to develop the parties' human resources, scientific, educational, and innovative potential. The parties plan to jointly conduct scientific research, educational events, practical training, and internships.
Roseltorg will also partner with the new master's program "Economics and Public Procurement." The program will be implemented at SFedU Faculty of Economics in September 2026. The master's program was developed as part of the "30-30" project of the "Priority 2030" strategic academic leadership program.
The signing of the document opens a new chapter in the collaboration between one of the country's leading universities and the largest federal operator of electronic trading.

Pavel Makhno, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and Information Technology at SFedU:
"Today, the university is a driver of the country's technological and socioeconomic development. Combining the university's educational and scientific potential with the practical experience and scale of a leader in electronic trading will create a synergistic effect. This partnership will undoubtedly open up new opportunities for our students, faculty and researchers.”

Victoria Yashina, Deputy General Director of Roseltorg: "It's important for us to establish a strategic partnership with one of the leading universities in southern Russia, which has approximately 22,000 students, including nearly 3,000 international students from 89 countries. A strong scientific component: participation in the Priority 2030 program, large volumes of R&D, and the high citation index of SFedU scientists were key factors in choosing a partner. I am confident that through joint efforts, we will be able to ensure maximum integration of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the procurement industry."

Sergey Tsygankov, Head of the Master's Program in Economics and Public Procurement: "Cooperation with Roseltorg is not just a guarantee of quality; it is the development of a high-quality educational standard that aligns with the best global practices. Graduates of our program will acquire competencies that will be highly valued by both Russian and international companies and development institutions."
