Agroclimatic Engineering

The "Agroclimatic Engineering" Master's programme (course of study 04.05.06) is based on integrative, practice-oriented, interdisciplinary and integral approaches.

The integrative approach involves the synthesis of knowledge from the fields of agroclimatology, agroecology, remote sensing technologies, computer science and data analysis, management and engineering to solve pressing problems in the field of sustainable agricultural management in a changing climate.

The practice-oriented approach will be implemented through case-based and project-based training in close contact with employers in the context of an integrated scientific method. The combination of two approaches creates an environment of evidence-based innovation, fostering practical problem-solving by students.

During studies:
The “ Agriclimatology Engineering” Master program includes the study of modern problems of agroclimatology, the implementation of research projects within the chosen track, and internship at one of the partner companies.

The program is interdisciplinary in nature, and its graduates have unique competencies combining knowledge and skills from different professional fields, which gives them a significant advantage in the labor market.
The teaching staff actively participates in major scientific projects aimed at creating breakthrough technologies to preserve natural resource potential and increase soil fertility, and thus to ensure national food security.
The research workshop is aimed at developing the research and problem-solving skills.
During one semester, students have an opportunity to study abroad at one of the partner universities and thus broaden their horizons and improve their intercultural communication skills.
